How to reach Helgoland?

Accommodation for course participants and tutors on Helgoland

21 double and 6 single rooms are available in our Wilhelm-Mielck guest house (Wilhelm-Mielck-Haus) for the accommodation of course participants and carers.  The guest house has two fully equipped kitchens for self-catering and a dining room with a TV corner. Towels and bed linen are provided. Washing machine and dryer are available in a separate drying room. Please ask the guest research team for the current accommodation costs. Accomodation for visiting researchers

Furnished single rooms are available in our Arthur-Hagmeier guest house for the accommodation of visiting researchers. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and a common room with TV. As the guest houses are very busy from May to September, early booking is advisable. Furthermore, three double-room apartments with kitchen and bathroom are available, one of which is handicapped accessible (early booking required). How to reach the Wadden Sea Station Sylt?

by public transport

Take bus number 1 to 'List' from the central bus station (next to the central station of Westerland). Get off at the bus stop "Dünenstraße" and walk straight on for about 50 meters. Turn left at the crossroad (before the “STAR” filling station) into „Listlandstraße“. The guesthouse is located just at the beginning of the street (left side).

In your route planner, set a route to Hafenstraße , 25992 List. After 16.9 kilometres, in about 25 minutes, you will have reached your destination. If you don‘t use a route planner, drive north from Westerland station. List is well signposted from Westerland.
