The AI-Group is an open and informal group of colleagues from various AWI-departments, aimed at providing an opportunity to exchange information and ideas related to the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, in particular:

  • to present and discuss current or past research activity in which AI is employed,
  • to discuss technical topics (e.g. installation, updates) regarding software and AWI-infrastructure related to AI.

The group is open to non-AWI members.

The group meetings are held virtually over WebEx and occur once a month. We try to schedule the meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m.; variations to this rules are normally due to holidays. An invitation and a reminder e-mail are sent to the group mailing list before each meeting.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list or have any other question, you can contact Stefan Pinkernell or Giorgio Busatto.

Here below you can find information about recent and future meetings.
