- Diplomatische Anträge für wiss. Arbeiten in ausländischen Hoheitsgewässern werden von der Fahrtleitung gestellt.
- Die Anträge dazu erhalten Sie auf Anfrage bei der Schiffskoordination. Benuzen Sie keine älteren Formulare! Gelegentlich ändern sich die Formulare oder es gibt Änderungen an den schiffspezifischen Dauermessungen. Diese Änderungen würden in älteren Vorlagen nicht berücksichticht werden.
- Den ausgefüllten Antrag schicken Sie bitte nur an die Schiffskoordination. Dort wird er geprüft, in Ihrem Namen unterschrieben und an die entsprechende Botschaft der Bundesrepublik Deutschland weitergeleitet.
- Rückfragen oder eine Genehmigung erhalten Sie dann auch über die Schiffskoordination.
- Bitte beachten Sie die Antragsfristen von bis zu 6 Monaten, dazu müssen mindestens 3 Wochen Bearbeitungszeit durch die Botschaft und die Schiffskoordination eingeplant werden. Melden Sie sich also unbedingt rechtzeitig bei uns.
- Genehmigungen kommen üblicherweise eher kurzfristig vor Expeditionsbeginn, das ist kein Grund zur Sorge!
- Die Anträge und Genehmigungen finden sie im "EIS".
- Die Berichterstattung nach der Expedition aus den Auflagen der Genehmigungsschreiben liegt bei der Fahrtleitung.

- Diplomatic applications for scientific work in foreign territorial waters are carried out through the ship's command.
- The application forms for this are available on request from the ship coordination. Do not use older forms! Occasionally the forms change or there are changes to the ship-specific permanent measurements. These changes would not be reflected in older templates.
- Please send the completed application form only to the ship coordination. There it will be checked, signed on your behalf, and forwarded to the appropriate embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- Inquiries or a permit can then also be obtained via the ship coordination.
- Please note the application deadlines of up to 6 months; the embassy and ship coordination must allow at least 3 weeks for processing. So be sure to contact us in good time.
- Permits usually come at rather short notice before the start of the expedition, so that's nothing to worry about!

- Post-expedition reporting from the conditions of the approval letters is the responsibility of the cruise director. Document the fulfillment of the conditions in the "EIS."

The whole thing is a highly official matter, since the Heincke belongs to the Federal Government and accordingly the correspondence is handled by the respective foreign missions/embassies.
