Institutes and universities from all over Germany and Europe have a great need for living and/or fixed biological material for teaching purposes. The Biologische Anstalt Helgoland operates a biota supply service that enables researchers and course instructors to acquire such material.
The BAH's biota supply service tries to process all corresponding requests, but strictly adheres to existing species protection regulations. Accordingly, we naturally cannot supply species that are on the red list.
