Accommodation for course participants and supervisors on Helgoland
Wilhelm-Mielck guest house offers 21 double rooms with shared bathrooms and 6 single rooms with one bath room for two for the accommodation of course participants and supervisors. The guest house has two fully equipped kitchens for self-catering and a dining room with a TV corner. Towels and bed linen are provided. Washing machine and dryer are available in a separate drying room. As a rule, two courses share the use of the guest house, so for reasons of politeness and consideration it is essential to observe the house rules. Please ask the guest research team for the current accommodation costs.

Accommodation for visiting researchers
In the Arthur-Hagmeier guest house furnished single rooms mostly with one bath room for two are available for the accommodation of visiting researchers. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering and a common room with TV. As the guest house is very busy from May to September early booking is advisable.
Furthermore very few apartments with kitchen and bathroom can be booked, one of which is handicapped accessible (early registration required).

How to reach the Wadden Sea Station Sylt?
by public transport
Take bus number 1 to 'List' from the central bus station (next to the central station of Westerland). Get off at the bus stop "Dünenstraße" and walk straight on for about 50 meters. Turn left at the crossroad (before the “STAR” filling station) into „Listlandstraße“. The guesthouse is located just at the beginning of the street (left side).

In your route planner, set a route to Hafenstraße , 25992 List. After 16.9 kilometres, in about 25 minutes, you will have reached your destination. If you don‘t use a route planner, drive north from Westerland station. List is well signposted from Westerland.
