FTP - Datenaustausch mit Externen / Data Transfer with Externals

Kurzfassung: AWI-Nutzerinnen und -Nutzer stellen Dateien im Ordner public bereit. Externe greifen anonym per unverschlüsseltem FTP darauf zu. Dateien in public werden nach 30 Tagen gelöscht.

Summary: AWI users place files in the public folder. External users access them anonymously via unencrypted FTP. Files in public are deleted after 30 days.

Erstanmeldung erforderlich: Vor der ersten FTP-/FTPS-Nutzung muss einmal eine Anmeldung per SSH/SFTP erfolgen. Ohne diese Erstanmeldung kann ein direkter FTP-/FTPS-Verbindungsaufbau fehlschlagen.

Externe Nutzerinnen und Nutzer ohne AWI-Konto verwenden FileZilla mit unverschluesselter FTP-Verbindung und dem Benutzer anonymous ohne Passwort. Anonyme Nutzerinnen und Nutzer koennen kein FTPS verwenden.

Interne Nutzerinnen und Nutzer koennen sich per SSH oder SFTP anmelden:

  • ssh <username>@ftp.awi.de
  • sftp <username>@ftp.awi.de

Aufbewahrung

Daten im Ordner public, die aelter als 30 Tage sind, werden automatisch geloescht.

First login required: Before using FTP/FTPS for the first time, log in once via SSH/SFTP. Without this first login, direct FTP/FTPS connections may fail.

Accessing Shared Data

External users without an AWI account use FileZilla with an unencrypted FTP connection and the user anonymous without a password. Anonymous users cannot use FTPS.

Internal users can log in via SSH or SFTP:

  • ssh <username>@ftp.awi.de
  • sftp <username>@ftp.awi.de

Retention

Data in the public folder that is older than 30 days is deleted automatically.
