Allgemeines

Nach Umstellung des FTP-/Datenaustausch-Servers ist jeder Nutzer eines AWI-Accounts in der Lage, Daten an Externe über das FTP-Protokoll bereitzustellen.

Erreichbarkeit

Protokolle

Folgende Protokolle/Programme können verwendet werden:

  • ssh (rsync, scp)
  • sftp
  • ftps
  • ftp (nicht sicher)

Zu bevorzugen ist "sftp" egal ob es sich um die Kommandozeile oder exteren Programmen wie Filezilla usw. handelt.

Eine erstmalige Anmeldung über ssh/sftp ist zwingend notwendig, da ansonsten ein direkter ftp/ftps Verbindungsaufbau nicht zustande kommen kann.

Dateistruktur

Dateien die zum Austausch bereitgestellt werden sollen, werden je nach verwendetem Protokoll/Programm abgelegt

  • SSH: "/ftphome/public"
  • SFTP,FTPS,FTP: "public"

Bereitstellung von Dateien

Zugriff auf die Daten

Extern (Nutzer ohne AWI-Konto):

  • per Filezilla mit unverschlüsselter Verbindung und dem Nutzer "anonymous" ohne Passwortangabe.

Intern:

Aufbewahrung der Daten im Speicherort "public"

Daten die älter als 30 Tage sind, werden gelöscht.

Adjustments to the FTP-/Data Transfer-Server allow all AWI-users with a valid account to share data with externals through the use of the FTP-Protocol.

The following protocols/programs can be used:

  • ssh (rsync, scp)
  • sftp
  • ftps
  • ftp (not secure)

Irrespective of sharing method/program used (e.g. command line, FileZilla) "sftp" is recommended.

A first-time log-in through ssh/sftp is mandatory because a direct ftp/ftps connection cannot be established otherwise.

Files intended for sharing will be stored depending on protocol/program used

  • SSH: "/ftphome/public"
  • SFTP,FTPS,FTP: "public"

Providing Data

Accessing Data

External:

  • via Filezilla with unencrypted connection and the user "anonymous" without password.

Internal:

Storing Data under "public"

Any data older than 30 days will be deleted.
