Connect your PC/notebook
You can connect your device by Ethernet cable or by Wifi to the ship's network 'FS-Heincke'. Ask the Expedition-Leadership for the Wifi Credentials.
Access network shared folders (on xdc2)
The data storage server "xdc2" is available for you to store and exchange data during the cruise.
The network share is available here:
Windows: \\xdc2.fs-heincke.local\home\
Mac/Linux: smb://xdc2.fs-heincke.local/home/
Ask the Expedition-Leadership for the Credentials.
The storage is backed up once per day at 01:00 UTC.
Access network printers (on xdc2)
The server "xdc2" also provides network printers.
On \\xdc2.fs-heincke.local (fs-heincke\scientist, password by crew) you will find a list of printers you can connect to.
