Attention:
AIMMS-20 probes are permanentely installed on both aircrafts. Removal of the probes from the aircraft and re-installation requires calibration flight maneuvers and recalculation of the calibration coefficients.
Summary
The AIMMS (Aircraft Integrated Meteorological Measurement System) is a fully-integrated instrumentation system providing high-accuracy measurements of temperature, telative humidity, three-dimensional winds and turbulence. The embedded GPS / Inertial subsystem also provides measurement of inertial accelerations (X, Y, Z), inertial angular rates (P, Q, R), GPS time, position and velocity as well as attitude (roll, pitch, yaw).

Available Devices and Specifications
Despite the air data probe installed under the wing, the AIMMS20 system comprises 4 AIMMS-20 modules (GPS, IMU, Digital I/O and CMP) which are permanently installed in the underfloor compartment. An additional I/O module is installed in a rack for data storage during flight.
No subdevices available.
