Attention:
Two models of Nevzorov Probes exist (CWCMB2 and CWCMU4) which operate after the same principle. Each system consists of a control box and a sensor head.
Operation of the Nevzorov probes requires experienced staff on board the aircraft.
Summary
The Sonde consits of two seperate sensors for measurements of LWC (liquid water content) and TWC (total (liquid plus ice) water content) in clouds and fog in the range of 0.003 g/m3 to 3 g/m3.
