Attention:
Different air data computers are installed on the aircraft Polar 5 and Polar 6. Shadin Avionics ADC2000 is installed on Polar 5 and an AC32_5035 by Thommen Aircraft Equipment is installed on Polar 6. See "Available devices" further down for specifications of the individual ADC.
Summary
An air data computer (ADC) is an essential avionics component found in modern aircraft. The ADC determines the calibrated airspeed, Mach number, altitude, and altitude trend data from an aircraft's pitot-static system. Air data computers usually also have an input of total air temperature. This enables computation of static air temperature and true airspeed.
