NACOS Platform includes Radar, Autopilot and Track Control, Conning and Docking display, VDR and a full navigation sensor package, joystick system and Dynamic Positioning, alarm, monitoring and control system, power management system, propulsion control system, main engine safety system, 2-stroke engine governor system, HVAC and cargo monitoring, ship-to-shore data link, remote monitoring and remote maintenance solutions. Data archiving on land
Track planning
It is possible to provide nautical officer coordinates of waypoints to be uploaded in NACOS/ECDIS. The coordinates must be given in a data file, which is predefined to be a MS Excel template (HE_waypoint_file.xlsx). The table consists of following columns which are mandatory to be defined: Name of waypoint, Latitude [°], Longitude [°], Max.Speed [kn]. Definition of content for additional columns is optional.
The coordinates must be given in decimal degrees. The precision of coordinates should be of at least 5 digits (corresponds in region of north sea to ca. 1 meter).
The Excel-Sheet must be copied to dedicated USB stick hand over by nautical officer.
