Summary
The Kongsberg synchronizing unit, K-SYNC is designed to solve interference between different acoustic devices and instruments which can be a severe problem for ships with several acoustic instruments operating simultaneously. It controls proper timing of the instruments and the triggering of each instrument's transmission.
