Summary
Seismic streamers are used to record reflection seismic signals. Streamers are cables filled with hydrophones. Sea-ice poses risk to streamers (damage or even loss), in sea-ice conditions the short analogue streamer with up to 600 m lenght and 96 channels is used. The length of the streamer can be adjusted accordingly to sea-ice conditions.

Components
The system consists of the analogue streamer with up to 600m length and max. 104 hydrophone channels on streamer winch. The length can be adjusted accordingly to sea-ice conditions. Registration is achieved with 4 Geodes and a PC.
