Die Wasserschallprofilsonde (SVP) misst bzw. berechnet zeitlich äqudistant die Wasserschallgeschwindigkeit und speichert diese im interne Flash-Speicher ab. Mittels PC-Software wird das Profil nach dem "Tauchvorgang" eingelesen und zur weiteren Verarbeitung bereitgestellt.

Eine zentrale Speicherung ist nicht vorgesehen. Es obliegt dem Anwender die Wasserschallprofile für eine weitere Verwendung z.B. mit den Daten des Hydrosweeps abzuspeichern.
