- The cruise leader completes the document and sends it only to AWI Vessel Coordination for review AT LEAST 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE START OF THE TRIP
- The list of the voyage participants must be sent by the captain to the federal police for clearance. Therefore, please send it by e-mail to the captain directly on board and to the AWI ship coordination at least 3 days before the cruise (Voyage Management). The data can be taken from the "EIS". Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to fill in the list automatically.

Number of Participants:
- Day trips without overnight stay: max. 38
- Multi-day trips: max.12, (because of Corona protections, currently 11).

Departure/Arrival:
- The authorized sailing starts in the morning on the first sailing day, not before. The berth of the Heincke is at Fischkai 27 in Bremerhaven.
- The time of arrival at the port of destination must be agreed with the captain in good time. Due to the working and rest time regulations for seafarers, the end of the voyage should usually be planned for the late afternoon at the latest.
Crew working hours:
- The total deck crew is 6 persons (including boatswain).
The regular working time is 10 hours/day according to STCW 95 / ILO180. The deployment of the crew takes place exclusively within the framework of the legal regulations. The captain is responsible for this. The exact daily planning of the scient. The exact daily planning of the scientific work is to be coordinated between the ship's command and the ship's management by 6:00 p.m. of the previous day at the latest.
- The working and rest time regulations for seafarers must be observed at all times.
Final Report:
- At the end of the cruise, the captain will come to you for the cruise report. In it, the course of the trip is described and there is room for praise and suggestions for improvement.
