The sound velocity probe consits of the probe, the mounting cage and the computer.
The data acquisition and processing software DataLog Express is installed on the computer. RS232 interface connects the computer to the probe. The sound velocity profiles can be transferred to the computer of the multibeam echo sounder Hydrosweep DS3 https://spaces.awi.de/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=182353956 via the computer network. |

Die Wasserschallprofilsonde (SVP) misst bzw. berechnet zeitlich äqudistant die Wasserschallgeschwindigkeit und speichert diese im interne Flash-Speicher ab. Mittels PC-Software wird das Profil nach dem "Tauchvorgang" eingelesen und zur weiteren Verarbeitung bereitgestellt.
