Die Satellitenbildempfangsanlage (VCS, Bochum) dient zum Empfang von Bildern der NOAA-, FENGYUN- und METOP-Serien.
Zentrale geographische Schiffsposition und Zeitnormal
Eine Zentrierung der GPS-Position auf den Schwinger findet nicht statt. Die Zeitsynchronisierung des PCs erfolgt über die Windows-Domain-Zugehörigkeit.
