Mapping Infrastructure

As part of the SDI Standard Operating Procedures data gets harmonized for viewing and filtering purposes. The biggest aspect of this is using standard vocabulary (esp. NERC) and mapping

Data harmonization uses expert/scientist input to map existing metadata (like parameter names, method/device strings, and unit strings) to it. This gets done inside the SDI but to work properly it depends on input from experts and scientistsa standard vocabulary (esp. NERC). This process is called Mapping.
