The transition from hssrv1 (samfs) to hssrv2 (ScoutAM) is (nearly) complete :-)

• We have to copy (rearchive) 600 tapes due to a tape recall, although we try to avoid it, in rare cases all tape drives might be occupied and staging might take somewhat longer than usual. 
  

• → Suggestion: Please be patient, staging might take longer than you expect. Take a look at the scheduler to observe the progress. 
•  DELL acknowledged that the SSD-Hardware we use as cache storage has a (design-based) hardware issue, leading to random controller reboots that interrupt internal data transfer. Currently (Q1/2025) we are looking for an alternative (and affordable) hardware.
