Paying onboard
Generally cash is accepted for paying.
Purchases in the canteen, the shop or on the bar or services such as laundry have to be paid in cash (€uro).
You may purchase cash from the communication officer using following credit cards: VISA-Card, Master-Card, Maestro.
There will be 3% minimum processing fee plus eventually charges specific to the nation or the credite institute.

Paying via credit card
Paying with a credit card (VISA, MasterCard) or a bank card (Maestro) is possible under following conditions:
Payments by card are limited to bills settled at the end of the journey and are only carried out with the communication officer during stable internet availability.
Fees for payments by card are not accounted for in services and purchases and are therefore paid for by a surcharge of 3%.
The communication officer will keep 3% of the amount for covering the fees of cash payout.
Owner of foreing credit cards might be charged an additional international service fee. Cash withdrawal is generally bound with additional specific cost of the credite institutes.
