Proposals for scientific work onshore

The chief scientist is responsible for obtaining required offical approvals for work conducted on islands or on the mainland.
Relevant information have to be aquired during expedition planning. Drawing of proposals, adherence to obligations and post-reporting are the sole responsibility of the chief scientist.

Helicopter usage

Necessary helicopter flights should be announced to the ship coordination at an early stage so that the helicopter operator may obtain flying, start and landing permissions.

Proposals for the ship

Please inform AWI ship coordination immediately in case the ship's call requires separate notification besides the diplomatic proposal.
