Deployment of instruments performed by the Polarstern crew are logged in DSHIP by the officer on the bridge an on a normal cruise.
Please get in touch with the officer on duty (especially at the beginning of the cruise) to communicate which devices in DSHIP correspond to the instrument being deployed and in which Science Activity to log the device operation.
