DMS (Data Management System) is the central data acquisition system operated onboard the research aircrafts Polar 5, Polar 6 and helicopters.
Data of all scientific instruments such as GPS, meteorological sensors, photo cameras, air data computers etc. are acquired and stored by DMS.
After each campaign all flight datasets are made available in the longterm DMS land archive at https://dms.awi.de.
