Track planning
It is possible to provide nautical officer coordinates of waypoints to be uploaded in NACOS/ECDIS. The coordinates must be given in a data file, which is predefined to be a MS Excel template. The table consists of following columns which are mandatory to be defined: Name of waypoint, Latitude [°], Longitude [°], Max.Speed [kn]. Definition of content for additional columns is optional.
The coordinates must be given in decimal degrees. The precision of coordinates should be of at least 5 digits (corresponds in region of north sea to ca. 1 meter).
The Excel-Sheet must be copied to dedicated USB stick hand over by nautical officer.
