Operation of the FMCW Radar requires experienced personnel on board the aircraft.

Summary

The Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) System operates in the frequency range 400-800 MHz. It shows the structure of the upper 100 m of ice masses with a vertical resolution in decimeter range.
