Attention:

The operation of the Ocean Optics Spectrometer requires experienced personnel on board the aircraft.

Summary

Ocean Optics NIRQuest NIR Spectrometers and QE65000 Spectrometer are combined for simultaneous measurements either downward or upward looking. The NIR spectrometer cover the wavelength range between 900 and 2500 nm while operates in the visible light between 200 and 1000 nm.

Available devices and Specifications

The Ocean Optics NIRQuest NIR spectrometers and QE65000 spectrometer are usually installed simultaneously. The fibre optics sensors are installed at the cabin roof looking upward or in the floor compartment looking downward. The are connected to the spectrometers by fibre optics cables. Data aquisition is controlled by an operator PC installed in a rack. A DC/DC converter also installed in a rack provides the required voltage of 5 VDC for the spectrometers.
