Attention:

The absolute pressure transducer setra 278 is permantly installed in both aircraft as part of the Basic Meteorology module. Additionally, the pressure transducer is installed in nose booms used for turbulence measurements.

The pressure transducer does not operate below 500 hPa.

Summary

A setra 278 model is used for measuring absolute, barometric pressure at the nose of the aircraft or within the Turbulence Nose Boom. Measuring range is 500-1100mbar at -40 to +60 °C with a response time of <100msec and sampling rate of 100Hz.
