The setra 239 model is used for measuring differential pressure for the basic meteorology at the nose of the aircraf. Additionally, it is used with the Turbulence Noseboom where setra239 transducers are connected to a 5-whole probe. The Model 239 is a transducer designed for extremely low pressure ranges (+/- 2.7 inch WC) and a wide temperature range (-18 to +80°C)Sonde consits of two seperate sensors for measurements of LWC (liquid water content) and TWC (total (liquid plus ice) water content) in clouds and fog in the range of 0.003 g/m3 to 3 g/m3. |
