Both thermosalinographs keel 1 and keel 2 consist of SBE21, external thermometer SBE38, NMEA interface box and a pipe system with a flow meter. The system is located in the box keel. The water inflow is in about 11 m depending on the ships draft. Several devices of type SBE21 and SBE38 exist. They are used in rotation and are calibrated regularly. Shown here are the devices which are currently installed. | ||
