AXIS P1214-E is a tiny HDTV 720p camera for exceptionally discreet surveillance, ideal for capturing subjects at close range. AXIS P1214-E comprises a main unit and a separate sensor unit that can be mounted up to 8 m (26 ft.) apart. In the BT-67 aircraft it is used to monitor sky above the aircraft (upward looking) and surface below the aircraft (downward looking)The slewable PTZ-camera is mainly used for obersvation of the EM Bird during winching. Besides it can be used for filming clouds or the surface below and around the aircraft. Cameras are permanently installed on Polar 5 and Polar 6. The cameras of the series DDZ4200HD are high-speed PTZ dome network cameras with 20×/30× optical zoom. They are equipped with a high-performance Pan-Tilt-Zoom mechanism and provide real-time high-definition video with up to 30 fps at a resolution of up to 2MP. Operation requires the installation of the PTZ controller within in the aircraft cabin and connection to an operator PC, where also videos are stored.
