The LD90 is a Laser Distance Sensor which determins the distance to an object by means of transit time technique. It can be operated in the temperature range of -10 to +50°C. The maximum range is 2500m with an accuracy of 2.5cm. Besides the scanner itself operation of the laser scanner VQ580 requires an operator PC installed in a rack. For safety reasons a laser scanner key switch for easy emergency stop is also in installed in a rack.
