Please be aware: you as the expedition leader you are responsible for your staff, even if you delegate parts of this responsibility to your working group leaders. That implies: you will be informed, when participant data still missing in EIS is still missing!

(IF THE BUTTON DOES NOT APPEAR, THE REASON IS THAT THERE ARE NO PROJECT WORKING GROUPS CREATED YET - please read the explanation in 'Projects and project working groups')

A dialog window will open:

Enter your (business) email-address - you do not need to send yourself the invitation by email (checkbox under your mailadress), as you have already accepted your invitation as the expedition leader.
Note: every participant of an expedition needs to be a member of a certain project working group. You need to add all data in the following dialogue - and select being part of a project working group as well.
When done and you refreshed you session, a new menubar item "my participation information" should appear - please enter all the necessary information there!

HowTo: add a project working group

Adding the project to your expedition has been done by the scientific coordination of AWI. These entries can be found below the expedition leader information.

In this example, two project working groups have been installed, Test and ABC. You see the maximum amount of working group participants available. If you want to install a further project working group, press the button "Add working group to project".

Please follow the steps shown and explained to add a further project working group to your expedition.


HowTo: add a project working group leader on board (b)

During any kind of expedition, there will be a variety of project working groups on board. You need to add project working group leaders to these groups. Working Project working group leaders will organize there groups themselves, such as inviting members for there group and care for them to submit all relevant participants' information.
Adding (and inviting) a project working group leader remains your job -  or the one of your administrative substitute.

Click on the Grant Number of the project working group of the project and in the folowing window,

Enter the business email address of the project working group leader you selected, make sure you select the checkbox that the invitation will send by email. The selected project working group leader will receive the invitation and can immeditately start adding further group members by inviting them.

You as the expedition leader, and the project working group leaders as well, can get an overview if the participants data have been submitted.
Go to projects/member detail to see in the status column the status of the provided data per single participant.

Until all participants data is completed, which a green tick in a green circle will show you, you will be informed by automatic generated and recurring mail, that areas of data are not submitted before starting into the expedition.
Please make sure you - and your project working group leaders - take care to inform participants to deliver the details needed. You as the expedition leader are responsible!
