To get access to AWI's HPC resources, you need to apply for an account. After this was is granted, you are added to the group HPC_user, which is needed to access the HPC machines.
- To apply log-in in on https://id.awi.de (this page is currently only available in german) and create a new order ("Neue Bestellung"/"Start a new request").
- Next, choose "IT-services" and add "High-Performance-Computing (HPC)" to your basket ("In den Einkaufswagen"/"Add to cart").
- Now you can optionally add a reson for your application ("Begründung"/"Reason") and submit the request ("Absenden"/"Submit").
- When your account was granted, we will setup your account on the HPC machine(s) and your will receive an automated mail once everything is done.
Note: If your AWI account expires we will deactivate your HPC account. Please write an email to hpc@awi.de to request access after After your generic AWI account has been reactivated, you'll have to repeat the process described above so we can also reactivate your HPC account, too.
