The DPM7885 measures absolute pressure from 30-1300mbar in the temperature range of -40 to +70°C with a resolution of 5HzMagnetic measurements provide the direction of the geomagnetic field. Therefore, 2 Cesium Magnetometers are mounted in a Nose and a Tail Boom to the aircraft. In addition, a Fluxgate Magnetometer for attitude compensation is installed. The sensor system is controlled by an external unit (AADC II) mounted in a rack. Magnetic base stations with Overhauser magnetometers are used for ground reference of the airborne measurements.
