Applying to all single conductor wires: The single conductor wires are lead via a Ramert slip ring transmitter and a RG214U-cable into the Mess- und Registrierraum where the signal can be tapped at normal sockets. Slip ring transmitters are maintained yearly.
Winches W1, W3 and W4 have electric slip ring collector and W3 additionally fiber optic collector transmitter for electric supply and data communication. On board in Measurement Laboratory the correspondig patch field is installed to connect scientific deck unitFrom each winch a cable of type RGU214U leads to the patch field in Mess- und Registrierraum. Connectors of patch field are female N-Type connectors sockets with outer thread. An adapter to BNC socket is available. The fiber optic patch field has two plugs of ST type (bayonet socket).
