There are 2 zodiacs onboard with aluminum floors and outboard motor and a dinghy made of synthetic material with paddles.
The zodiacs will be operated by crew members. Usage has to be announced to the cruise leader first.
Everybody has to wear a survival suit in the zodiac.

An Bord gibt es zwei Zodiacs / Schlauchbote mit Aluminiumboden und Außenborder sowie ein Schlauchboot aus Kunststoff mit Paddeln.
Die motorisierten Schlauchbote werden durch ein Mitglied der Besatzung gefahren. Die Nutzung ist an Bord beim Fahrtleiter anzumelden.
Im Schlauchboot muss ein Überlebensanzug getragen werden.

| Die Anzüge (Helly Hansen E300-2 Trockenanzug) sind nicht an Bord verfügbar! Leihen Sie einen passenden Anzug im Bekleidungslager aus. Thermo-Stiefeleinlagen mitgeben lassen und warme Socken tragendry suits) are not present onboard. You need to lend a well-fitting suit from the AWI clothing storehouse. Please also order thermo insoles as well and wear warm socks with the suit. |

Vorteile durch den Überlebensanzug:
Advantages of the survival suit:
- Cold shock upon the sudden contact with the water is avoided.
- Uncontrolled breathing possibly under water during the first few seconds will not happen
- The danger ofheart and circulatory system problems is reduced
- Danger of submersion is reduced.
- Freezing to death is delayed.
Core temperature within the body decreases by 2°C in 6h - der Kälteschock beim plötzlichen Wasserkontakt wird vermieden
- unkontrolliertes Luftholen in den ersten Sekunden, ggf. unter Wasser, bleibt aus
- Herz/Kreislaufprobleme werden reduziert
- Gefahr des Untertauchens wird reduziert
- Erfrieren wird verzögert.
Körperkerntemperatur verringert sich in 6h um ca.2 Grad.
